Patterns Tab

The Patterns tab (/studio/patterns) shows all your pattern files.

Pattern Cards

Each pattern card displays:

• Thumbnail: Preview image of your pattern
• Name: Pattern title (click to open)
• Last Updated: When the pattern was last modified
• Globe Icon: Blue globe appears if published to community

Creating a New Pattern

Step-by-step:

1. Click the + Create button in the top bar
2. Enter a name for your pattern
3. Select default unit (cm or inches)
4. Click Create
5. The new pattern opens in the editor

Opening a Pattern

• Click anywhere on the pattern card
• The pattern opens in the editor
• Your changes auto-save as you work

Pattern Card Menu

Click the three-dot menu () on any pattern card for options:

Option	Description
Rename	Change the pattern name
Duplicate	Create a copy of the pattern
Copy Link	Copy the shareable URL to clipboard
Publish/Unpublish	Toggle community visibility
Delete	Permanently remove the pattern

Renaming a Pattern

1. Click menu → Rename
2. Type the new name
3. Press Enter or click outside to save

Duplicating a Pattern

1. Click menu → Duplicate
2. A copy is created with "copy" suffix
3. The duplicate appears in your patterns list

Copying Share Link

1. Click menu → Copy Link
2. The URL is copied to your clipboard
3. Share this link with others to let them view your pattern

Publishing to Community

1. Click menu → Publish
2. Your pattern becomes visible on the community page
3. A blue globe icon appears on the card
4. Click Unpublish to remove from community

Deleting a Pattern

1. Click menu → Delete
2. Confirm the deletion
3. Warning: This cannot be undone

Searching Patterns

1. Use the search bar at the top of the page
2. Type part of the pattern name
3. Results filter in real-time as you type
4. Clear the search to see all patterns

Sorting Patterns

Click the Sort dropdown to choose:

Sort Option	Description
Date	Most recently updated first (default)
Name	Alphabetical order (A-Z)

Published Filter

Click the Published button to show only patterns you've published to the community:

1. Click the Published button in the toolbar
2. Button turns blue when active
3. Only published patterns are shown
4. Click again to show all patterns

View Modes

Toggle between two display modes:

Mode	Description	Best For
Grid View	Visual card layout	Desktop, browsing
List View	Compact list format	Mobile, many patterns

• Grid view is default on desktop
• List view is default on mobile
• Your preference persists across sessions

Infinite Scroll

• Patterns load automatically as you scroll down
• No need to click "Load More"
• Smooth browsing experience for large libraries
